PM meets Dementia Friendly Communities Champion Group

Prime Minister David Cameron has met with the dementia friendly communities champion group in London. The group is one of three champion groups set up as part of the dementia challenge to explore how to deliver its key aims of creating dementia friendly communities, improving dementia research and improving health and care. Dementia Shared Lives

The Dementia Shared Lives Project, will seek to develop a bank of Shared Lives placements, where people open their own homes to provide care to people with dementia, these placements could be used for long term care, rehabilitation/recuperation, respite short breaks and social and day activity.
