The Alzheimer’s Society has announced information sessions across England over the next 3 months which you can attend to find out more about and sign up to become a Dementia Friend.

Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer’s Society initiative that aims to give a million people a better understanding of dementia by 2015. Watch the video below to find out more.

Just over 12,000 people have already registered their interest in becoming Dementia Friends. Now those people and many more will be able to attend information sessions to find out more about what it’s like to live with dementia and then turn that understanding into action in their local community.
