The Life Story Network Online Conference

This live, online conference on 20 July 2011 10-11:30 am is the first in a series of focused sessions made available online by The Life Story Network. During the conference you will see the presentation slides on your computer in real time and listen to the presenters.Those with microphones will be able to participate in the Q&A session.

Attendees can participate online from their own computer at work or at home.

  • Presentation 1 “Making Life Story Work Happen – Reflections on delivering life story work training to staff and family carers of people with dementia” Charlie Murphy
    Charlie Murphy is a development officer with Age Scotland and a freelance trainer. He was formerly with DSDC, University of Stirling and author of “It started with a sea shell”.
  • Presentation 2 “Supporting people with dementia through football” Martin Rothero
    Martin Rothero is a Development Consultant and lead on the Alzheimer Scotland Football Reminiscence Partnership
  • Presentation 3 “The Life Story Network – Everyone has a story to tell
    What has happened over the last 18 months since the national conference, how we are evolving and the plans for the network

The presentations will then be followed by a live Q&A with all the panelists.

After the conference, attendees will be given access to a full recording of the session. Places are available on a first come, first served basis at a price of £30.
