Following the launch of the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia, a number of leading care providers committed themselves to supporting the Dementia Care and Support Compact and improving services to people who have dementia.

The response of the care sector to the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia has been outstanding and the English Community Care Association (ECCA) recently announced many more providers have signed up to the Compact. View the list of signatories

Martin Green Chief Executive of ECCA said,

“The Prime Minister has recently written to me to express his gratitude to all those care providers who have committed themselves to delivering high quality care for people with dementia. The care sector has an outstanding record of support to people with dementia, and finally this is gaining recognition at the highest level of the Government. Those organisations who have committed themselves to delivering on the Care and Support Compact have made a public declaration of their commitment to supporting people with dementia and delivering the highest quality care possible.”
