The Department of Health has made £22 million available to 21 pioneering research projects to boost dementia diagnosis rates and trial ground-breaking treatments.
The funding awarded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) covers all areas of scientific activity relevant to dementia, across the fields of care, cure and cause, including prevention.
i am trying to locate the 21 research projects either current or available, as i am particulary interested in research into dementia myself. The link on your website is faulty and is not uploading the information. Can you provide me with further information regarding this please?
Hi Lesley,
The link above should enable you download a list of the research projects in PDF format. If you continue to experience problems try visiting the Dementia research pages on the National Institute of Health Research website http://www.nihr.ac.uk/research/Pages/Dementia.aspx.
All the best
Rowan on behalf of Dementia Partnerships
