This project aims to improve leadership for dementia care in hospitals across the South West through the development of a leadership programme in general hospitals, the facilitation of the Community Hospitals Network and a peer review of community hospitals.

This project includes:

• Commission ‘train the trainers’ programme for compassionate leadership – general hospitals; evaluate; ensure sustainability via sign up by senior teams.
• Sponsor Dementia Care in Community Hospitals Network
• Commission peer review of dementia care in community hospitals
• Disseminate outcomes, learning and positive practice
